The preparation for the acknowledgment of the network consumed a lot of time and meant many efforts at academic, administrative and political levels.
Finally, the ceremony of signatures took place at UNESCO Headquarter, Paris, on the 31st of March 2006. The partaking Universities of this network are mentioned at the beginning of this presentation.
