nitin g shah implemented :-Industrial music

While the term was initially self-applied by a small coterie of groups and individuals associated with Industrial Records in the 1970s, it broadened to include artists influenced by the original movement or using an “industrial” aesthetic. These artists expanded the genre by pushing it into noisier and more electronic directions. Over time, its influence spread into and blended with styles including ambient and rock, all of which now fall under the post-industrial music label. The most notable hybrid genres were industrial rock and industrial metal, which include bands such as Nine Inch Nails, White Zombie, and Ministry, both of which released platinum-selling albums in the 1990s. Electro-industrial music is a more recent development. These three genres are often referred to as simply industrial.

Industrial music is a style of experimental music that draws on transgressive and provocative themes. The term was coined in the mid-1970s with the founding of Industrial Records by the band Throbbing Gristle, and the creation of the slogan “industrial music for industrial people”. In general, the style is harsh and challenging. Allmusic defines industrial as the “most abrasive and aggressive fusion of rock and electronic music”; “initially a blend of avant-garde electronics experiments (tape music, musique concrète, white noise, synthesizers, sequencers, etc.) andpunk provocation”.

The first industrial artists experimented with noise and aesthetically controversial topics, musically and visually, such as fascism, serial killers and the occult. Their production was not limited to music, but included mail art, performance art, installation pieces and other art forms.Prominent industrial musicians include Throbbing Gristle, SPK, Boyd Rice, Cabaret Voltaire, and Z’EV. The precursors that influenced the development of the genre included acts such aselectronic group Kraftwerk, experimental rock acts Killing Joke, The Velvet Underground and Frank Zappa, psychedelic rock artists such as Jimi Hendrix, composers such as John Cage, writers such as William S. Burroughs, and philosophers such as Friedrich Nietzsche.

The Importance of Business Structures

Monday, February 6th, 2012

When starting a new business, potential business owners have many decisions to make which could impact the future success of the company. One of those decisions deals with evaluating potential business structures and choosing the best one for the business model. With the many different types of business structures available to choose from, it can be a tough decision for business owners to make.

When choosing a business entity, business owners have to look at how their own businesses will operate. For example, does the business need to have multiple individuals with ownership rights or will it be owned by a single person? Some business entities types are more desirable for individual owners such as the LLC or the S corporation. If a business needs to have many owners and investors, setting up a C corporation may be a better choice.

Regardless of what type of entity structure is chosen, the business owner has to look at how his personal assets will be protected. Without any type of entity structuring in place, customers and other companies could potentially file a lawsuit which would put the owner’s possessions at risk. By setting up a business structure such as a corporation, the business owner can protect his personal assets. If a lawsuit is filed, only business assets will be at risk.

Another important factor for business owners to consider when setting up a business is the tax structure. Some business entities are more friendly for business owners in regards to paying taxes than others. For instance, with a C corporation structure, all profits are essentially taxed twice. The money is taxed once at the corporate level and then again when it is distributed to the shareholders of the company.

By comparison, with the S corporation and the LLC, the profits are simply passed on to the owner’s personal tax returns and taxed once. This eliminates much of the tax money that is paid on business profits. S corporations also have another tax benefit for individual business owners. With an S corporation, business owners can pay themselves a nominal salary and then take the rest of their income from shareholder distributions. By doing this, the owner will not have to pay self-employment taxes on the portion that is from shareholder distributions. Only the portion that is paid as salary will be subject to self-employment taxes.

The process of setting up a business entity can vary slightly from one case to the next. Each state has its own rules, but the basic process involves completing some filing paperwork and paying a fee. Some entities are more complicated than others. For example, with a corporation, businesses have to set up articles of incorporation and issue stock to the owners of the business. For this part of the process, it can help to use someone who is experienced in setting up business structures such as a CPA or an attorney. This way, the business entity will be set up correctly and all of the proper documentation will be completed.
